Log Cabins DF Range

Log Cabins DF Range

Quality Garden Log Cabins from Log Cabins Sussex

The DF range of log cabins is just simply fantastic value, great looking functional cabins built to a price, with good quality really built in. DF is the Design Functionality range, part of the value range of log cabins, along with the TF, CAB and Flat Roof range. The DF cabins are a range of small to medium sized cabins, and so are just great for storage, workshops, budget pool houses or compact home offices. Alternatively, when used as a shed, they are so much better quality, so much stronger, and so much better looking than even the best sheds available. If you want a long lasting, strong and great looking shed, try a DF log cabin from LogCabinsSussex.co.uk.

Summary Specifications.
All DF log cabins are available in a range of wall thickness 34mm / 44mm / 70mm / 35+35mm / 44+44mm. The DF range includes double glazed windows and doors as standard, 28mm superior thickness floor in Siberian pine, and 19mm roof boards in Siberian pine. All DF log cabins are under 2.5m high, and are normally considered as outbuildings and are therefore classed as permitted development, and subject to certain limits and conditions, may not need planning permission. Please check with your local Planning Authorities if you are in any doubt over the rules regarding planning permission.

The DF range of cabins represent excellent value for money. But at LogCabinsSussex.co.uk, we also build in quality as standard. We know and understand that a purchase of a new log cabin is a big decision, and one that must be a good investment to increase the value of your home, and improve the appearance of your garden. We are confident that you will be amazed and pleased at the value and quality of our cabins. The most important areas to consider are the quality of the floor, the windows and doors, and the timber. Inferior cabin manufacturers will try to save some money by offering only 19mm thick flooring. This might look OK, but as soon as you step onto it, you will feel it bend and bounce, and then you will know you should have looked for a stronger and thicker flooring. We only and always offer 28mm quality tongue and groove flooring as standard, included as standard on the DF range. There is virtually no bend or bounce or creaking. Just a quality floor that will last a lifetime. Buy a log cabin with a cheap 19mm floor and you may well always regret it. But choose a quality log cabin from the DF range, and every time you step onto the quality floor, you will pleased you choose LogCabinsSussex.co.uk.

The quality of the windows and doors of a log cabin is vital in ensuring the appearance and definition of quality. Every time you go into your log cabin you will see and then open the door. It will be a pleasure for you, as our log cabin doors will not squeak, twist or warp. At LogCabinsSussex.co.uk, we proudly spend time and effort sourcing the best quality and value doors and windows, and this care and attention to detail is your assurance that we offer only the best quality metal fittings, hinges and handles.

We were the first to fit quality double glazed windows as standard on all our log cabin range (38mm and above), and an option on the smaller cabins. At LogCabinsSussex.co.uk, we were the first to offer tilt-turn window mechanisms as

standard as part of our double glazed units. We offer quality frames, triple seals, and quality metal hinges, fittings and handles. As a result, our windows open smoothly and quietly, and seal perfectly, to protect you against the cold, heat, and sound. We not only offer a range of log cabins in various shapes and sizes, but with a variety of window positions, which allows you to choose a log cabin which is just right for you, and which allows you to choose you own log cabin style that suits your very own style and needs. And it will look fantastic into the bargain.

And of course, the quality of the timber is also a vital ingredient in ensuring you get a great looking log cabin or garden building with superb quality and great value. So how do we at LogCabinsSussex.co.uk ensure you get quality timber. Well, we start with quality trees. The better quality timber is slow grown timber, and to do that, the tree has to grow and love growing in a cold climate. Trees grown in a warmer European climate will grown faster, have fewer and wider growth rings, and ultimately will not be as strong as colder slow grown timber. At LogCabinsSussex.co.uk we only offer slow and cold grown Siberian pine and larch. The other advantage to slow grown Siberian timber is that, compared with timber grown in warmer some European climates, there will be fewer side shoots or branches. In timber buildings, side branches are not good, as they produce the knots. Of course a small amount of knots is visually appealing, but too many knots becomes unsightly and ultimately will weaken the building, or even cause floor or roof sections to split or break. So too many knots is a bad thing, and is another reason why we only offer slow and cold grown Siberian pine and larch.

The quality of timber in the DF range of log cabins offers you a wonderfully pleasing experience. Only our slow and cold grown Siberian pine and Larch has that smooth touch, that wonderful natural colour, and the unforgeable smell of fresh cut timber. And the better the quality, the more those experiences of touch, smell and looks of your DF log cabin will last a lifetime.

In addition to the DF range of log cabins, our range includes garden log cabins and garden building styles including the TF, Cab and Flat Room range of cabins all under 2.5m high, log cabin home offices, garages, studios, bunkhouse cabins, camping pods, Saunas, Summer Houses, Playroom cabins, Gazebos, residential cabins, clubhouse cabins, holiday cabins, bespoke cabins and custom cabins,, and the Clockhouse cabin range.
